Hi, I’m Sonia--welcome to my corner of the internet. Currently, I am pursuing a Master's in Computer Science at Stanford University. During my time at Stanford, I am interested in pursuing AI safety and robotics research. My research interests include, but are not limited to, embodied alignment, scalable oversight, robot learning, and the safety and misuse prevention of physical AI systems.
For the past year, I was a software engineer working at AWS on AI Infrastructure. More specifically, I was part of a really cool team that does provisioning for NVIDIA GB300/GB200 NVL72 UltraServers.
I graduated from UCSD with my Bachelor's in Computer Science in 2025. During my time there, I was part of Rose Yu's Spatiotemporal Machine Learning Lab where I contributed research on building safe offline RL policies for medical use cases.
