Hi, I’m Sonia--welcome to my corner of the internet. Currently, I am a software engineer working at AWS on AI Infrastructure. More specifically, I am a part of a really cool team that does provisioning for NVIDIA GB300/GB200 NVL72 UltraServers.
In the Fall, I will be attending Stanford University to pursue a Master's in Computer Science. During my time there, I am interested in pursuing AI Safety research. My research interests include but are not limited to scalable oversight, gradual disempowerment, and alignment.
I graduated from UCSD with my Bachelor's in Computer Science in 2025. During my time there, I was part of Rose Yu's Spatiotemporal Machine Learning Lab where I contributed research on building safe offline RL policies for medical usecases.
